Building permit fees are based on a comparison of the declared cost of construction and the minimum cost of construction as outlined by the International Code Council.

Miscellaneous Single Family Permits

  • Minimum monthly inspection fees are due prior to permit issuance.
  • If stormwater monthly inspections exceed the minimum paid upfront, monthly fees will be added to the permit which must be paid prior to additional inspections being requested.

* Fees shall be waived for single family construction alterations to enlarge, alter, repair, remodel or add additions to existing structures when the value of said alteration is less than $1,000.

  • A permit is still required.
  • Mechanical work is not subject to this waiver.
