Beach Wedding Permits

Wedding ceremonies performed on the beach require a permit (free of charge) from the Town of Hilton Head Island.

To apply, please complete the request form and submit online at least 30 days prior to your ceremony date.

If you are planning to apply for a permit to hold a wedding ceremony on the beach between April and December 2025, please be aware that the Town of Hilton Head Island will be conducting a beach renourishment project during this time.
