Fire Station Five

Station Five is located near the main entrance to Hilton Head Plantation and opened in 2011.

Apparatus

• Engine-5 - 2010 Spartan/Crimson Quint with a 103 foot Aerial
• Medic-5 - 2019 Frasier Ambulance on a Ford F-450 Chassis

Staffing

• Station Five has a minimum daily staffing of four firefighters.
• This station operates a split crew staffing model that allows two personnel to respond on the medic unit for EMS calls while keeping the fire apparatus in service with two personnel.
  • On fire related calls when all personnel are in quarters, all four will respond on the fire apparatus and place the medic unit out of service.
