Fire Station One

Station One is located just inside the Cordillo Parkway/Pope Avenue Security gate at Shipyard.

The station was dedicated in November 2011.

Apparatus

• Engine-1- 2010 Spartan/Crimson Quint with a 103 foot Aerial
• Medic-1 - 2019 Frasier Ambulance on a Ford F-450 Chassis
• Rescue-1 - 2008 Spartan Custom Tractor Trailer Heavy Rescue

Staffing

• Station One has a minimum daily staffing of four firefighters.
• This station operates a split crew staffing model that allows two personnel to respond on the medic unit for EMS calls while keeping the fire apparatus in service with two personnel.
  • On fire related calls when all personnel are in quarters, all four will respond on the fire apparatus and place the medic unit out of service.
• The engine company also is responsible for responding Rescue-1 if it is needed.
