Community Development

The Community Development Department is committed to providing the highest quality planning services for both our internal and external customers.

The staff plans, develops and implements programs and activities that meet identified needs in our community, ensures a comprehensive and professional direction for the Island's environmental protection and preservation, and preserves and enhances the Island's long-term sustainability.

Our staff also manages the pathways, parks, and facilities and provides administrative leadership, supervision, support, and direction to the Facilities Management Department.
