Business Changes and Closures

Change of Business Name and/or Address

If a business has a change in the name and/or address, the Town's Revenue Services Office shall be notified.

  • Submit a completed Change of Business Name and/or Location form via hand delivery or mail to:
    • Town of Hilton Head Island
      One Town Center Court
      Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
    • * Please answer all questions and be sure to sign and date the form.
  • Approvals must be obtained prior to the change of location occurs.

Sale or Closure of Business

Upon the closure or sale of a business, submit a Statement of Closure form to the Town's Revenue and Collections Office.

  • The form must be signed by a principal of the company and may be submitted via hand delivery, mail, or fax.
