Beach Renourishment Project Update 6 - Fish Haul Beach

September 11, 2025

Here are the latest updates on Phase I of our beach renourishment project at Fish Haul Beach!

This Week's Progress (September 6-12)

The Marinex crew finished installing approximately 20,000 feet of pipeline for the renourishment construction process, and is now pumping sand from Bay Point Shoals to the shoreline at Fish Haul Creek.

Beach Access Reminder: Fish Haul Beach Park is now temporarily closed to ensure the safety of the public and the construction crew. The closure is expected to last approximately a week, depending on weather conditions and work progress.

If the park can reopen safely during sand placement, active construction areas will remain closed. Fencing and signage will mark these zones, and staff will be on-site to help manage beach access for the public. All other areas of the beach will remain open when safe to do so.

Looking Ahead (September 13-19)
