Hilton Head Island's Town Manager to Present FY2026 Town Budget on Tuesday, June 3, 2025

The Town Council of Hilton Head Island will consider the second reading and public hearing of its proposed consolidated fiscal year (FY) 2026 budget at its Town Council meeting at 3 pm, Tuesday, June 3.

During this meeting, Hilton Head Island Town Manager Marc Orlando will deliver an overview of the recommended consolidated budget to the Town Council and the public. Following the Town Council meeting, the proposed consolidated budget and the budget presentation will be accessible on the Town's website at hiltonheadislandsc.gov/finance.

"We've received a lot of positive community feedback on this budget since its first reading in early May, and the team and I look forward to putting it into motion this July," Orlando said. "It reinforces our commitment to Town Council's strategic initiatives and focuses on critical investments for beach renourishment, workforce housing, and other capital improvement projects that benefit our island," Orlando said. "It also supports Town Council's future strategic initiatives, sustains, and in some cases improves, our day-to-day operations, and most importantly, improves quality of life on Hilton Head Island."

The public can view the budget sessions on the Town's YouTube Channel and the Beaufort County Channel. Citizens who wish to address the Town Council about the budget during any of the scheduled meetings should sign up to speak online. Public comment sign-up will also be available in person within Council chambers prior to the beginning of each meeting. Citizens must sign-up prior to the start of meeting business to address Town Council during the public comment period.
