The Town of Hilton Head Island seeks volunteers to serve on its Housing Action Committee.
The Town’s Housing Action Committee is one of the key strategies recommended in the Workforce Housing Framework policy, Finding Home, adopted by the Town Council in November 2022. The committee, comprised of diverse community leaders, advises the Town Manager, Town staff and Town Council on strategies, ideas, and recommendations that address workforce housing affordability. The committee also supports implementation of Finding Home.
The committee meets monthly at the Hilton Head Island Town Hall.
Interested citizens must be registered to vote within the Town of Hilton Head Island to be considered to serve on the committee. Citizens may apply online at hiltonheadislandsc.gov.
