Share Your Thoughts About Town Communication Efforts

The Town of Hilton Head Island is surveying the community to better understand the best ways to communicate Town information. The survey is short, with only six questions, and will remain open until March 10. The Town encourages everyone with an interest on our Town government to take the survey. It is available in:

This survey is part of a greater effort by the Town to reevaluate its communication practices. The Town will use these results to create a strategic communications plan to guide staff on best practices, streamline communication efforts between departments, and help information reach community residents and stakeholders, and visitors in a timely manner.

Your responses will help identify:

• How you prefer to get Town news.
• Preferred social media platforms for connecting with the Town.
• How frequently you want to receive communication from the Town.
• Town topics that may be of interest to you.

The responses will also help our team understand which tools are most successful in delivering information and how best to use them. Questions about demographics will help us address the preferences of different audiences and more effectively reach all of them.
