The Town of Hilton Head Island will welcome its new mayor, Alan Perry, and newly elected Town Council members at next week's Town Council meeting.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 3 pm, Tuesday, December 6, in the Benjamin M. Racusin Council Chambers at Town Hall, 1 Town Center Court. The Honorable Drew Laughlin, a Beaufort County magistrate judge and former Hilton Head Island mayor, will conduct the ceremony.
Perry will be seated along with the three other council members elected in November - Patsy Brison, who is representing Ward 2; Steve Alfred, who is representing Ward 5; and Tamara Becker, who was reelected to represent Ward 4. Their terms of office run from December 2022 to December 2026.
Immediately following the meeting, a small reception will be held to honor the newly sworn-in members of Town Council.
