Hilton Head Island Town Council to Review Strategic Action Plan on September 8

The Hilton Head Island Town Council, along with Town Manager Marc Orlando and Town department leaders, will meet to review the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Strategic Action Plan at a public workshop on Thursday, September 8.

The workshop will be held from 9 am to 3 pm.. at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, 2 Grasslawn Avenue. The agenda for the workshop is available on the Town’s website at hiltonheadislandsc.gov.

"It's our pleasure to review our progress to date and highlight the status of our strategic initiatives for Town Council and the public. Our Strategic Action Plan has been essential in helping Town Staff plan out and implement initiatives to enhance our community," Orlando said.

"This workshop gives us a chance to review the accomplishments we’ve made over the last fiscal year and discuss how to move forward on remaining initiatives," said Mayor John McCann. "This is also an opportunity for us to provide a mid-year update on our initiatives to our residents and stakeholders. They are invited to comment on the overall plan or on any of the specific initiatives within it during the workshop or in writing beforehand."

Citizens who wish to address Town Council concerning the strategic action plan may do so by contacting the Town Clerk no later than 12 pm, Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Citizens may also submit written comments concerning the Strategic Action Plan through the Town's e-comment portal: Town Council Workshop Information.
