Starting the week of January 10, the public will have more access to free COVID-19 tests on Hilton Head Island.
The Town of Hilton Head Island has partnered with the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and BrightStar Care to administer COVID-19 tests at the following locations:
You will receive your test results within 48 to 72 hours from the test provider. Results for tests completed on Saturdays may take longer to receive. If you are under 18 years of age, please bring your parent or legal guardian with you. They will need to give their consent before you can be tested.
"With the current rise in COVID-19 cases and the demand for testing, we're asking everyone seeking a test to be patient. There may be long lines and long wait times as the providers administer tests," said Tom Dunn, Emergency Manager for the Town of Hilton Head Island.
