Town's Right of Way Improvements - Lagoon Road Pathway

Beginning Monday, July 26, the Town of Hilton Head Island will be making right of way improvements alongside the multi-use pathway in the vicinity of the Rockfish restaurant and the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra on Lagoon Road off of Pope Avenue.

The Town's contractor will be installing a wood retaining wall and a small section of concrete curbing to help stabilize the existing landscape bank and prevent erosion into the adjacent pathway and stormwater infrastructure. Work will take place at night to minimize impacts to the area, and is expected to be completed in one to two weeks.
