The Town of Hilton Head Island will be conducting routine vegetation maintenance along sections of the drainage channel that runs along the multi-use pathway and power line easement behind Arrow Road.
The Town's channel maintenance contractor will be removing overgrown vegetation, trash and debris within the waterway and along the banks. They will use a combination of hand tools and heavy equipment to complete the work. Work is expected to be complete within the week.
The contractor will have warning signage posted. However, pedestrians and cyclists are urged to use caution when traveling this section of the pathway.
