APAC-Atlantic, Inc., a contractor for the Town of Hilton Head Island, will resurface and mark pavement on Arrow Road from Archer Road to Helmsman Way, and adjust lanes approaching Palmetto Bay Road.
To avoid disruptions to daytime traffic and local businesses, work will be done between 7 pm and 7 am, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 29 - May 1, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to use Palmetto Bay Road to avoid the construction area during these evenings. Traffic will be controlled through the work zone via signs, traffic control devices and flaggers. Access will be permitted to those destined for addresses within the work zone.
