Islanders and visitors are warmly invited to experience the magic of the season at the Town's Christmas tree lighting and other events scheduled for the holiday season.
Beginning Saturday, November 30th, visit the Holiday Light Display at Fire Station 3 and help your neighbors.
Fire Rescue needs your help to "Keep the Wreath Green" this holiday season.
Beginning Thanksgiving Day, if a fire occurs during the Holiday Season, one of the green bulbs will change to red.
Recycle natural Christmas trees, wreaths and holiday string lights after the holiday season. Recycling services will be available 24/7 at the following drop-off locations through January 19, 2025.
These trees will be ground into mulch for free use. Before dropping off any trees, check that all ornaments, lights, and garland are removed to ensure the resulting mulch is clean. When the grinding is complete, all are welcome to stop by and pick up free mulch starting Friday, January 20, until it is gone.
