Resilience Meeting & Events

Open Houses

Concerned about flooding? Sea levels rising? Adapting to changing weather conditions? We want to hear from you.

The Town of Hilton Head Island is developing a Resilience Plan for adapting to changing flood conditions. In June 2024, the Town hosted open houses to collect community input on flooding challenges and opportunities for enhanced resilience. This input has informed a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis.

Join us at the upcoming Public Open House to provide feedback on the initial flood resilience SWOT findings and help identify next steps for the Resilience Plan. The Town is interested in incorporating your experiences, thoughts, and concerns into the planning efforts.

Participants can drop in at any time during the advertised time to participate in activities,

  • Tuesday, March 11, 2025
  • 4 pm to 6 pm
  • USCB - Hilton Head Island Campus,
    1 Sand Shark Drive
    Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

We look forward to hearing from you!
