Chaplin Community Park

Chaplin Community Park is Hilton Head Island's largest and most diverse park. Located off of William Hilton Parkway between Burkes Beach Road and Singleton Beach Road, the park features a public tennis complex with six courts, basketball courts, multi-purpose fields, extensive trails, beach access and parking, playground, picnic pavilions, multiple restroom facilities, and the Town's only dog park.

Parking

Visitors are required to pay for parking at all beach park locations except Coligny Beach Park.

• Parking fees are $3 per hour, Monday through Friday per vehicle.
• Parking fees are $5 per hour, Saturdays and Sundays per vehicle.
• Parking fees are enforced daily from 7 am to 5 pm during the peak beach season of March 1^st through September 7^th.
  • Free parking for youth recreational sports will remain available at Chaplin Community Park (Burkes Beach Access).
  • Beach parking fees will be enforced at Chaplin Community Park (Burkes Beach Access) from 7 am to 5 pm, beginning May 19^th and through September 7^th, following the end of the youth sports season.
• Visitors will pay online through a digital parking application accessed through their phones. Cash payments will not be accepted.
• Failure to pay parking or other violations will result in citations and fines ranging from $50 to $500. Learn More About Beach Parking Fines
