Stormwater Drainage Infrastructure Mapping Work: What Residents Need to Know

The Town of Hilton Head Island has contracted with Thomas & Hutton Engineering Co. to perform field mapping and surveying services to create a comprehensive inventory of the island's storm drainage infrastructure.

Starting Jan. 13, a field crew from Thomas & Hutton will be performing this work in neighborhoods along and adjacent to Pope Avenue, Cordillo Parkway, Greenwood Drive, Office Park Road, Tanglewood Drive, Nassau Street, Deallyon Avenue, Lemoyne Avenue, Hickory Lane, Myrtle Lane, Firethorn Lane, and South Forest Beach Drive, along various side streets in South Forest Beach, and within the Lawton Woods and Sea Pines communities. Work will continue through April. Please be alert and exercise caution while traveling in these areas.
