Welcome to iSpeak Hilton Head Island - The Town of Hilton Head Island's language access service!

iSpeak Hiton Head Island is the Town's portal for resources and information that promote public access to essential information and services provided by the Town of Hilton Head Island in languages other than English.

Interpretation Services

If you speak a language other than English, or are deaf or hearing-impaired, the Town of Hilton Head Island offers interpretation services, free of charge.

Through a partnership with LanguageLine Solutions, the Town will ensure residents and other customers with limited English proficiency or who are deaf or hard of hearing have immediate access to an interpreter when interacting with Town staff.

Interpretation is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in more than 240 languages, including American Sign Language.

These wallet-size cards are FREE to download and print.

Card reads: I speak [your language]. Please contact an interpreter, so we can communicate.

Instructions:

1. Find the card in your language below
2. Click on your language. Then, you can either:
   • Print the document. Cut out the iSpeak Hilton Head Island card at the bottom of the page and fold it in half. Carry it in your wallet or purse and use it to request language assistance when interacting with Town staff.
   • Download the pdf directly to your phone and save it to useto request language assistance when interacting with Town staff.
   • Take a screenshot of the card and save it to your phone to use when needed.
