Draft Skull Creek District

The Skull Creek District encompasses communities bordered by Skull Creek, including the historic Stoney and Squire Pope neighborhoods and properties along and off William Hilton Parkway on the island's north end, from Jenkins Island to Jarvis Creek.

The Skull Creek District serves as the historical gateway to Hilton Head Island, offering a vibrant blend of neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and open spaces. With settlements dating back hundreds of years, this culturally rich district holds deep significance as the only area on the Island composed almost entirely of historic Gullah neighborhoods.
