Community Code Enforcement

The Town of Hilton Head Island has an experienced community code enforcement team in place to enforce its adopted codes that cover everything from property and pathway safety to dune protection along its 12 miles of beaches.

Our Community Code Enforcement Officers are responsible for enforcing the Town's municipal codes and Land Management Ordinance related to environmental, public safety, health, sanitation, and other general regulations.

These officers also support implementation of some of the Town's strategic action initiatives to include short-term rentals regulations, a parking master plan, expanded beach services and e-bike regulations.
