Hilton Head Island Master Plan

This is an important moment for our Island. We are experiencing new pressures and anticipating fast-moving changes over the next decade. We are focused on Hilton Head Island's preferred future and ready. Hilton Head Island can direct and shape investments, with parameters planned to build inclusive and diverse communities in the Master Plan.

The Master Plan is our blueprint for how and where we will grow in the future. Growth isn't just about expansion — it's maturing protections for our environmentally sensitive areas; it's protecting our strong neighborhoods; it's about maintaining and evolving our complete community, and; growth is nurturing the strong and vibrant Island we all call home.

The Master Plan will set the table for the Island's next chapter.

A robust engagement process for this initiative will include citizens, Town Officials, and community leaders to gain input and build on recent, relevant work. This will expand knowledge and understanding, and serve as foundation for how and where we conserve, protect, and grow our Island.
