The State of South Carolina'sToll-free Public Information Phone System (PIPS) is provided to disseminate accurate evacuation and shelter information to visitors and citizens for South Carolina during a hurricane evacuation. The toll-free number is 1-866-246-0133.

If you are unable to provide for your own transportation when a mandatory evacuation is issued, the Town of Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Division will provide transportation.  You may call 843-341-4600 to request assistance.
