As part of the Town of Hilton Head Island's Cordillo tennis courts redevelopment project, the courts will be closed starting Monday, April 22, to allow a contractor to demolish and replace the tennis courts and surrounding fence.

The site at 104 Cordillo Parkway is a 1.47-acre parcel with four tennis courts and several parking spaces. Town Council approved the conceptual redevelopment plan for the project in December 2017. In June 2018, the Town Council directed Town staff to begin work on the replacement of the tennis courts only. The FWA Group, an architecture firm on Hilton Head Island, designed the project. Talbot Tennis is handling demolition and construction of new courts.

The work is expected to be complete by mid-July. For more information, contact Anne Cyran, Senior Planner, at annec@hiltonheadislandsc.gov or 843-341-4697.
