Queens Way will be closed at the entrance of Leamington on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 for a few hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists shall use alternative routes to access the Leamington subdivision during this time. The roadway closure will occur for the Town's contractor to mill the existing asphalt on Queens Way from the old multi-use pathway crossing to William Hilton Parkway. This is part of the Town’s project to construct a new signalized intersection at William Hilton Parkway and Queens Way that will serve the Fresh Market Shoppes and Hargray Campus.
Further lane closures on Queens Way will occur by March 22, 2014 for paving, but traffic will be controlled through the work zone via signs, traffic control devices, and flagman.
The existing median crossings at William Hilton Parkway and the northern entrance of the Fresh Market Shoppes and William Hilton Parkway and the Hargray campus will be closed during the week of March 24th - March 28th, once the new signalized intersection is operating at William Hilton Parkway and Queens Way.
Traffic will be controlled through the work zone via signs, traffic control devices, and flagman.
