Channel your inner Leslie Knope! Apply to serve on the Parks & Recreation Commission for the Town of Hilton Head Island

The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on its Parks & Recreation Commission.

If you have experience in organized recreation activities and services for children, adults and senior citizens, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

The Parks & Recreation Commission meets monthly to study the recreational needs of the Town's residents, periodically review and update the master parks & recreation plan, and make recommendations to Town Council. Currently, all Town meetings are being held virtually. To learn more about the schedule, duties and responsibilities of the Parks & Recreation Commission, visit the Town's website at hiltonheadislandsc.gov/boards/.

The term for the current vacant position ends June 30, 2021. You must be a registered voter in the Town of Hilton Head Island to serve on a Town board or commission.
