Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on Pine Field Road

On July 20, 2020 at 12:01 am Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on Pine Field Rd.

The initial report was for an outside fire/brush fire endangering a structure. Upon arrival, crews found the fire had spread to a storage shed and additional apparatus was sent to the scene. At this time the cause of the brush fire is under investigation.

4 engine companies, the truck company, 1 medic units, the Battalion Chief and additional Staff Officers responded to the fire.

The fire was under control at 12:35 am.
