The Town of Hilton Head Island is conducting a study of the Lower Jarvis Creek Watershed. The study involves collecting data for the existing stormwater system in the field, and identifying infrastructure deficiencies and flood hazards. The study area includes portions of William Hilton Parkway, Wild Horse Road, Gum Tree Road, Spanish Wells Road and Jonesville Road and within portions of the Indigo Run Community as depicted on the attached exhibit.

The Town will be hosting a community meeting at Town Hall on Monday evening, February 10, 2020 at 5:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to present the project objectives and schedule, display an overview of the study area, and solicit your feedback on any storm water problems.

Field inventory crews are scheduled to begin work on Monday, February 3, 2020. The field crews are estimated to be in the area surveying the system and collecting data for approximately 30-45 days.

We look forward to informing you about the project and hearing your feedback on any stormwater issues you may have. If you have any questions regarding this project and cannot attend the meeting, please call me at 843-341-4775 or send an email to jeffn@hiltonheadislandsc.gov.
