Intermittent Lane Closures on Public Roads for Debris Operations

Occurring over the next several weeks, the Town's debris contractor will be employing temporary lane closures along US 278 / William Hilton Parkway and along all State, County, and Town roadways to remove roadside debris and hazardous trees from the right of way. Beginning Tuesday, October 25th, night time lane closures will occur on US 278 / William Hilton Parkway off-island from Squire Pope Road to the bridge from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. All other intermittent lane closures on US 278 / William Hilton Parkway, and along State, County, and Town roadways will occur during the day.

Traffic will be controlled through the work zones via signs and traffic control devices. Please use extra caution when approaching these work zones.
