There will be shoulder work along the west side of US 278 from Broad Creek to the south side of Shelter Cove Lane. Traffic lane closures will occur consecutively on both lanes of Shelter Cove Lane at the intersection with US 278. The shoulder work will be to extend the pathway along US 278 from Broad Creek to Shelter Cove Lane. The traffic lane closures will occur while construction crews pave the new pathway, and the pedestrian crosswalk on Shelter Cove Lane. The lane closures will be temporary and will be conducted between the hours of 8:00 am through 6:00 pm on October 7, 2015.  During this time lanes of Shelter Cove Lane will be alternately closed, routing it into the other lane. Traffic will be controlled through the work zone via signs, traffic control devices, and flagman.

All US 278 (Bus.) through lanes will remain open.
