There will be limited access on September 17th on Oak Park Drive from Mathews Drive to Electric Avenue due to the installation of a new centerline concrete curb gutter and asphalt stone base for the rehabilitation of Oak Park Drive. On September 17th, traffic on Oak Park Drive will be directed to one lane of traffic while construction crews are working. Motorists will also be able to detour Oak Park Drive through Electric Avenue and Mingo Way. Mingo Way will have one lane open for detour traffic while the concrete curb gutter is being constructed on Oak Park Drive.
There will be temporary lane closures on Oak Park Drive and Mingo Way from September 17th through September 20th to allow time for the curb gutter centerlines to cure and for installation of the asphalt stone base.
Temporary lane closures will occur on Cooperative Way, Thompson Street, and Power Alley from September 18th through September 24th for concrete curb gutter installation and time for the concrete to cure.
Motorists travelling in the vicinity of the work zone should use extra caution. Traffic will be controlled through the work zone via signs, traffic control devices, and flagmen.
