Administrative Services

The Town's Administrative Services Division is comprised of three areas which are overseen by the Director of Administrative Services. The Director of Administrative Services also acts as the Town's Procurement Official.

Records Administrator/Administrative Support

The principal function of the Records Administrator's Office is to ensure the Town has policies, procedures, and resources in place to preserve and protect the Town's records and to provide citizen and staff access to information.

  • Administers the Town Records Management Program
  • Responds to citizen request for records
  • Provides Town information services
  • Provides support for the Personnel Committee for boards and commissions

The Town offers the ability to search and view copies of building permits, building construction plans, site development plans, as-built plans, and flood elevation certificates for structures constructed after 1984 online.

Municipal Court

The Town of Hilton Head Island Municipal Court is responsible for the adjudication and disposition of misdemeanor Traffic, Criminal, Municipal Ordinance and Parking Violations occurring within Hilton Head Island town limits. Citations issued for misdemeanor violations by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), SLED Certified Plantation Officers and Town Enforcement Officers are adjudicated in the Hilton Head Island Municipal Court.

Information Technology

The Information Technology Division is responsible for the Town's Computer Network and all computer workstations, software programs, printers, faxes, copiers, telephones, cell phones, and audio-visual equipment.
