Project Description

Improvements to existing dirt roads to include roadway and storm drainage infrastructure, and rehabilitation of the SCDOT ditches and pipes along South Forest Beach Drive between Bayberry Lane and Laurel Lane. The project includes improvements to Bayberry, Cassina, Dogwood, Sea Oak, Elderberry, Firethorn, Juniper, and Laurel Lanes.

Project Objectives

Provide drainage infrastructure and paved roadways to mitigate storm water runoff issues and accommodate the safe and efficient movement of motor vehicles, emergency vehicles, and bicycles.

Projected Project Schedule:  January 2018 through June 2018

Projected Construction Start Date:  January 2018

Estimated Completion Date:  June 2018

Project Updates
  • 3/20/2018 - Stone road base complete on Juniper and Sea Oak. Storm pipe complete on Laurel, Juniper, & Bayberry. Dogwood and Elderberry are next for Storm Pipe followed by stone road base, weather permitting.
